  • did some benchmarking on #opensolaris with #Vmware #ESX. 70mbyte/sec over Gigagbit Ethernet with ZFS / SCSI drives / NFS to ESX = not bad! #
  • going now to sygroup for #OSS basel #
  • about to leave #oss in #basel again going to #zurich for some #food #

  • upgrading another box to jaunty – at my eeepc the touchpad dead beef! not recognized at all :( #
  • service on my box in vienna restored! #
  • watching kassensturz on SF1 on Zattoo – fits perfectly the resolution on my eeepc whose touchpad is now working on Jaunty – update fixed it! #

  • just ugpraded 2 ubuntu 9.04 on my macbook pro unibody. probs? had 2 erase files related 2 flash & reinstall that, & mic is not wrkn yet… #
  • seems ubuntu 9.04 is going to be a good upgrade – it’s already my 9th (!) ubuntu release – oh boy how time flies by – am I getting old? #
  • YEAH, one issue fixed: 64bit System, and official Sun Java plugin – HOORRAAAYYY!!! #

  • just solved a huge problem – anyone having problems w/ #opensolaris connect me I got my cifs server finally wrkn W2k8+Opensolaris snv_108 #
  • playing around with VCBackup on my ESX environment – getting close to have it running ;) #
  • vcbbackup runs to local disk. let me test out to a SMB Share from OpenSolaris ;) #
  • at lug kreuzlingen right now – any other twitter out here? #
